Wake up and move on

There is a world outside that is unknown to me,
That most precious thing called life,
It beckons me with a loving call,
You are in it; you have no choice!

Kept you at bay,
Built my own world,
Less stones to miss,
Less pain to hold!

You remind me that I have no escape,
I jump and you jump right after me,
I long to escape
I try to ignore!

Yet there you are
Outside my window, mocking at me
Life, I give you one more chance
Never mind, I have said that before…

Oh, there’s no escape from life and its whole jingbang. You have to live it!! So living it to the fullest is the best strategy, because it only happens once! A beautiful take in the prompt, Jyothi and good to see you back to blogging! 🙂

Beautiful poem, Jyoti. There is no other way to get through this life other than to accept it and embrace and learn to love its mischiefs, right?
I like your blog name as well. 🙂
